Dr. John Browning

John Browning, M.D., F.A.A.D, F.A.A.P., MBA is board certified in pediatrics, dermatology, and pediatric dermatology. As the Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and Dermatology and the Chief of Staff of Pediatric Dermatology, Dr. Browning has extensive experience in diagnosing and treating skin conditions in patients of all ages.

Dr. Browning obtained his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University Honors Program; he then received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School in Galveston and continued his pediatric residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Browning also completed his residency in dermatology at the Baylor College of Medicine; he was Chief Resident in 2006-2007. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a Pediatric Dermatology Fellow.

Dr. Browning is the Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and Dermatology at Baylor College of Medicine and at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He also serves as the Chief of Dermatology at the Children’s Hospital of San Antonio.

Cheryl Bruffy, MPAS, PA-C started her education at The University of Texas at San Antonio and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Community Health in 2010. She gained experience as a medical assistant for a San Antonio dermatologist and Mohs surgeon before continuing her education at The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio to complete the Master of Physician Assistant Studies program. In the summer of 2015, Cheryl graduated and became a board-certified physician assistant. She joined Dr. Browning at Texas Dermatology in August of 2015.

Cheryl is a member of the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants, Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, San Antonio Dermatology Physician Assistant Society, and the Bexar County Physician Assistant Society.

Alexandria Suchecki, MPAS, PA-C completed her undergraduate education at Pepperdine University with a degree in Sports Medicine. She then decided to further her medical career by completing her Master’s in Physician Assistant studies at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Myers, Florida. She graduated in 2015 with high honors. Alex worked in the field of dermatology in Florida for two years treating skin cancer, various skin conditions, and performing cosmetic procedures.

She recently moved to San Antonio with her husband, Adam, and daughter, Avery, and feels blessed to be part of the Texas Dermatology family. In her free time, Alex enjoys playing tennis, doing triathlons, being involved in church, and hanging out with her family.

Alex is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

Ludivina Baribeau, FNP is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who is passionate about providing excellent medical and cosmetic dermatological treatments for patients. Ludivina began her education at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science. Ludivina then received a full scholarship to The University of Arizona’s Accelerated Nursing Program where she graduated in 2009. Subsequently, Ludivina completed her Master of Science in Nursing from The University of Phoenix in 2017. She then practiced in Arizona moving to Texas in 2019 when she joined Dr. Browning at Texas Dermatology to focus on adult, pediatric and cosmetic dermatology.

Ludivina is specialized in the field of dermatology and is experienced in both clinical and surgical dermatology. She is an knowledgeable aesthetic injector of Botox Dysport, dermal fillers and other advanced aesthetic procedures. Ludivina is bilingual in Spanish and is proud to serve her fellow Texans.

Tommie was born and raised in a small town in East Texas. She graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 1997, receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies. She has 21 years of experience with over 13 years of experience in medical dermatology. Tommie has been board certified with the NCCPA since 1997. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer, as well as all types of diseases of the skin, hair, and nails. Tommie lives in New Braunfels with her husband Gabriel and their son Payton.

Ivanna Saucedo, MPAS, PA-C

Ivanna Saucedo, MPAS, PA-C is nationally board certified as a physician assistant. She graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2012. After working as an Intensive Care Unit clerk, her desire to help others and passion for medicine was solidified. She continued her education at The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and completed the Master of Physician Assistant Studies program in June of 2016.

Ivanna joined Dr. Browning at Texas Dermatology in August 2016. She has received training in both adult and pediatric dermatology. She considers herself extremely fortunate to be part of a wonderful team that strives to deliver the best quality of dermatologic care in Texas.

In her spare time, Ivanna enjoys spending time with her big Italian family and traveling with her husband on their adventure to see the New Seven Wonders of the World.

Ivanna is a Fellow member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA).

Tanya M. Garza, MPAS, PA-C

Tanya M. Garza, MPAS, PA-C is nationally board certified as a physician assistant. She began her education at the University of Texas-Pan American in Edinburg, Texas, where she graduated cum laude with a BS in Biology in 2008. She completed a rigorous three-year physician assistant program at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA), where she graduated with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies in May 2014. Tanya joined Dr. Browning at Texas Dermatology in July 2014, where she has received extensive training in adult, pediatric, and cosmetic dermatology.

Tanya also demonstrates exceptional cosmetic expertise at Texas Dermatology Med Spa, opened in 2015 by Dr. Browning.

She is an expert cosmetic injector and specializes in Botox® and Dysport® injectables, dermal fillers, and advanced aesthetic procedures. As the Spa Manager, Tanya assists in the operations of cosmetic dermatology within the clinic and uses her experience, skill, and a growing in-depth knowledge of various injectable treatments for patients seeking non-surgical facial rejuvenation.

Tanya is an active member of the American Association of Physician Assistants (AAPA), Texas Association of Physician Assistants (TAPA), Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA), San Antonio Dermatology Physician Assistant Society, and the Bexar County Physician Assistant Society.
